Montfort School - Facilities

Counselling and Career Guidance Cell:This cell aims at giving personal touch to every child. It organizes seminar on saturdays to inculcate values and to know oneself. Parents are requested to interact with the counsellors with prior appointment. This cell would help us to monitor and give right direction to our children. They are available from 08.30 am to 03.00 pm.

Cricket Coaching: Cricket is practised on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 02.00 pm to 04.00 pm.

Students from classes IV onwards are free to join the class.

Basket Ball Coaching: Children are free to join Basket ball coaching classes as mentioned below.
Girls:

Summer : 6.00 to 7.30am

Winter : 6.30 to 8.00am

Boys:

Summer : 5.30 to 7.00pm

Winter : 4.00 to 5.30pm

Swimming: Students have to enrol themselves paying by an annual membership fee. Swimming Pool remains open from 1st April to 15th October.
Girls : Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
Boys : Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Time : 04.00 pm to 07.00 pm (Duration 45 minutes)

Skating: Studens have to enrol themselves to join the skating coaching classes by paying an annual membership fee.
Time : 05.00 pm to 07.00pm (Summer) and 4.00 to 6.00pm (Winter)

N.C.C.: Students of classes VII, VIII, IX and X are free to join N.C.C. They have to be part of the team for at least two years. The N.C.C. students are exempt from Literacy classes in class IX.
N.C.C class are held on Thursdays and Fridays from 02.30 pm to 03.00pm.

Scouts and Guides: Boys and girls from class IV onwards are free to join the Scout and Guide movement. Classes are held on third and fourth Saturday after the school, for one and half hours(12.00 to 01.30pm). Students who have complete three years of Scouting/Guiding are exempted from literacy classes.

Literacy Classes: Students of class IX can join the school programme 'Each one teach one'. It is compulsory for every student to participate in this programme, however, students who have been part of NCC and Scouts and Guides movement are exempted.

Dance Classes: We organize dance classes for an hour after the school. On Monday and Friday during the classes, they learn light Western dances, Kathak and Flok dances.
The classes are from July to February.
Fees : 1100/-(Annually)

Foot Ball Coaching: Football is practised at 06.30am from Monday to Saturday.

Badminton Coaching: Badminton is practised on Monday, Wednesday and Friday

Summer : 4.00 to 6.00 pm

Winter : 3.30 to 5.30 pm

Kho-Kho: Kho-Kho is practised on Tuesday and Thursday after the school hours.

Library Facilities: School library will remain open on all days except
1. Gazatted holidays
2. Second saturday of every month
3. 16th to 30th June
Working hours:

Holidays : 08.30 am to 12.30 pm.

Young Christian Students(YCS): The Christian students from class VII onwards are free to join the YCS movement. The group meet twice a month on the first and third Thursday after the school hours.

Spoken English Classes: Students from class IV onwards are free to join the Spoken English classes. The focus is on effective communication skills and personality development.
Fees: 1200/- (Annually)
Timing : Tuesday and Friday (02.30 to 03.30pm)
