Vice Principal’s Message
Montfort Senior Secondary School, Ashok Vihar is one of the finest schools in Delhi. I am glad
to be the Vice-Principal of the respectable institution and I consider it my privilege to pen down
a short message for the school magazine. I feel very fortunate to work with many enthusiastic,
committed, caring and innovative staff members, parents and students.
The first step into school is that giant step forward, where children embark on the great adventure
of discovering the wide world outside and the depth of the world within. As we hold the little
finger and guide the young ones forward, we realize our responsibility of nurturing their curiosity,
igniting their minds to pierce the skies, helping them to discover the world of books and richness of
experience, ponder on the “mystery of birds in the sky, the bees in the Sunshine, the flowers on
a green hill” and today master the magic of technology and the limitless span of cyber space.
We, at Montfort School believe that every child is a gift of God and keeping this in mind we
provide the students value-based education, opportunities to grow in every sphere of life both in
academics and in their personality development, in the field of co- curricular activities, games, and
sports our students are paving their way towards great heights.
In a world of stiff competition, strife and unrealistic aspirations, it calls for sensitivity on our part
as educators to help children understand that predicament is common to everyone, problems and
challenges need to be faced courageously with conviction in our principles and confidence in our
inner strength and dreams.
I take this opportunity to thank God Almighty for His blessings showered upon our institution
through various people and events. I would like to express my sincere thanks to Rev. Bro. Thampy
Alex, the Principal who always guides, gives confidence, inspires and supports everyone. I
foresee a better future of the children in this institution and with the cooperation of the parents we
can take our students to a great new height. I wish all the best to our Staff, Editorial Team and
Students for making school magazine. Let us make the difference in the world as Albert Einstein
said, “Education is not about learning of facts but training young minds to think.” Let Your Light
Shine.
Thank you.
