ZONAL LEVEL PATRIOT SONg

Our school was bestowed with the privilege to
organize the ZONAL LEVEL PATRIOTIC SONG
COMPETITION on November-11-2021. The
competition began with the lamp lighting ceremony
in the presence of our honourable principal brother
Thampy Alex, the cultural secretary of the Zone Ms.
Arpita Neogy and our teacher in-charge Mr. Manish
Aggarwal. The lighting of the lamp ceremony was
followed by a prayer song which brought us closer
to the almighty and everyone prayed in unison. The
competition commenced in the presence of our judges
for the day Mrs. Sumeet Kaur Bhatia, a retired HOD
performing arts from MJKPS who also served the
institute for 39 years. Our second judge was Mr.
Jaspal who held a master’s degree and was working
as a teacher in a reputed government school. 8 girls
teams participated in the event and evoked the true
feeling of patriotism in the auditorium, the Indian
melodies and harmonies got everyone hooked and
gave the spectators a feeling of pride and satisfaction.
We also had a performance by the boys team whose
enthusiasm was irreplaceably impeccable and they
got everyone grooving to their musical beats. In the
end, the Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Narang Colony, Tri
Nagar was adjudged first, Mahraja Agrasen Public
School, Ashok Vihar held the second position and the
third position was bagged by M.M Public School. The
competition was a huge success and the performances
left a deep imprint of a patriotic feeling on everyone.
