BOOk REVIEW ON HARRY POTTER
The now famous Harry Potter Book Series is one of
the best-selling books that has caught the fancy of
children and adults alike. This magical world was
opened to us by J.K. Rowling. Harry Potter made our
childhood memories magical and bewitching.Harry
Potter was an orphan living with his uncle and aunt
and also had a lightning bolt scar on his forehead.
His uncle and aunt treated him very poorly and was
also bullied by his cousin Dudley Dursley. Harry
sometimes experiences things no one can explain,
for instance, a snake talking to him, glass window
disappearing etc. and these things happened only
when he felt angry. One fine day, as Harry was
collecting all the Dursleys mails, he was astonished
to find a letter sprouting at every corner of the
house. On Harry’s eleventh birthday something
unexpected happened. As Harry’s letters were not
stopping, the Dursleys and Harry moved into a
small sea-house. At midnight on Harry’ birthday,a
giant named Rubeous Hagrid told Harry that he is a
wizard and has been invited to the Hogwarts School
of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Harry also found out
that his parents were killed by a wizard called Lord
THE HARE AND THE TORTOISE
In a forest, once lived a rabbit who was very fast
and agile as compared to others. Soon, he became
overconfident of his speed. He always used to
tease the tortoise for his slow-moving lazy body.
Once the rabbit and the tortoise decided to have a
race, which other animals would watch. The race
started and the rabbit was aware that he would win

Voldemort and that is why he got his lightning bolt
scar. As Harry bought his books, wand, robes and
a pet owl named Hedwig, he started his journey
to Hogwart’s School. The station of Hogwart’s was
located between the barrier of King Pross’s 9 &10
quarters. There he met a boy named Ron Weasley
who was also starting his first year. He soon became
good friends with him. On the train he also met a
girl named Hermoine Granger with whom also he
became a good friend. Harry also met suspicious
Professor Snape. Harry soon found out that the
School was protecting something and someone was
trying to steal it. Harry was also very famous and
was called ‘The Boy Who Lived’. Harry Potter was
full of adventure, mystery and curiosity. J.K Rowling
opened our eyes to the magical world. She also
wrote the novel in such a way that we are always
curious to know what will happen next. These stories
are wonderful for children who love mysteries,
adventure and magic!

the race easily, without any special effort. So, when
the race started, he just remained at the starting
point without moving at all, thinking that he should
let the tortoise go first and then go ahead of him at
super-fast speed.
Soon, the tortoise was out of sight and the rabbit
thought that it was time to start running. The tortoise
had reached the half way mark. He was very tired
so he went inside his shell to snooze for a few
minutes. On the other hand, the rabbit was coming
at full speed. He was so fast that he reached the
tortoise in a few seconds. The tortoise was in his
shell so, the shell seemed like a rock. The rabbit
unknowingly kicked the tortoise’s shell so hard that
it reached very far, just a few metres before the
finish line. The rabbit thought that he had kicked a
stone and the tortoise had been left behind.
When he reached the finish line, he saw the
tortoise celebrating his victory with his friends. The
tortoise had crossed the line before the rabbit. The
rabbit started to regret and he realized that we
should not make fun of anybody. All creatures are
equal and are good at different things.
