                   ENCOMIUMS TO MONTFORT SCHOOL DELHI!

Jubilees are occasions to be celebrated, to recall the marvellous
ways the school has been fulfilling its mission in imparting ed-
ucation, moral and spiritual values, and discipline to help build
leaders who will bring about a culture of peace and love that our
society needs today. It is also an occasion to reflect on the school’s
past achievements and introspect the preparations to meet the
                   challenges that lie ahead.
Milestones result from a well-cultured and well-motivated mettle of great visionaries who could
foresee the flip and the flow of the strong undercurrent of life. However, milestones are reminders!
They remind us of our accomplishments, so momentous and phenomenal, which even astonish the
                   accomplisher himself when ruminated.

Fifty short summers and long winters were formidable and still counting immortal years in the field
of education. It gives me great pleasure to congratulate the Visionaries, the Principal, the Staff, the
Students, and the Parents of Montfort School, Delhi, on the occasion of celebrating your golden
years in the path of enlightenment. To my extended family at Montfort School, Delhi. I say, “I salute
you“ for your accomplishments and achievements as a premium school with outstanding academic
performance and exceptional co-scholastic success. Kudos to you for the pinnacle of excellence
you have reached in the country. You continue to strive to extend the bar of excellence. You have
touched lives, carved a niche, and made a name for yourselves in the most endearing way. The glow
from your torch of learning burns ever bright. Good luck and keep up the innovative work!

Education, as you all know, is a key to success, a passport to liberation. Education takes us from
narrow perspectives to broader perceptions, from close-mindedness to open thinking and rigidity
to flexibility. Albert Einstein said, “Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one
has learned.“ While theories, formulas, definitions, and derivations are valuable, fundamental,
classroom learning, empathy, compassion, consideration, and sensitivity are invaluable to school
life learning. School life is thus a combination of the concrete and the abstract, what a student
consciously learns and what he or she unconsciously picks up! Please remember that what one
unconsciously picks up is what stays with him or her till the very end because they move from the
subconscious mind to the conscious mind and then move on to words, actions, habits, and destiny.

Martin Luther King jr said, “Intelligence plus character, that is the goal of true education“ Our toil
should be for the attainment of true education. Education, in every sense of the term. Education
not just for livelihood but for life itself A life well lived with a good measure of enthusiasm, courage,
fortitude, humility, sagacity, love, kindness, and above, all integrity!

I wish you and your collaborators every success in the Jubilee celebrations and God‘s blessings in
abundance. Be assured that my prayers accompany you all through.

                   God bless us.

With kind regards and prayerful wishes Yours in Christ,

                   Bro. Pratap Reddy
                   Asst. General, Rome
