About Our Founder:
Montfort Senior Secondary School, Delhi has
been named after its great founder, Saint Louis de
Montfort. The school draws on the teachings of the
revered Saint, who in his lifetime, was a virtuous
educator and a noble priest. Till his last breath,
he was a believer of self-sacrificing. Since the
commencement of his priestly ministry in December
1700, Louis Marie envisioned a congregation willing
to go anywhere to tutor and edify the indigent and
underprivileged children.

Therefore, he laid the cornerstones of charitable schools for the deprived and poverty-stricken kids. In
the present day, more than 3 centuries after his demise in 1716, St. Louis’ legacy continues to live on in
various educational institutions across the globe, through the Brothers of St. Gabriel, thus, benefitting and
shaping millions of lives.
