SUNFLOWER

“I’m a sunflower, a little funny I prefer light over love anyway.
If I were a rose, maybe you’d pick
                       me.” Sunflowers can be valuable,
                                                              Roses can be odd.
I might be quiet, In this world of delight and trouble,
unlike a rose- desired. We all are flawed.
                       I might be absurd,
unlike a rose- preferred. I might not be as red as a rose,
But I’m yellow like a sunflower.
And it’s true, I might not show love as a rose does,
I AM a sunflower. But embodying sunshine is my power.
And I won’t spend another second in
                       rue I’m a sunflower, a little funny
of my vibrant powers. and never can a rose compare to my

                                                              beauty.
                       On a dark day,
I would look for a sunflower Navya gupta
than long for a rose. 10-B
